Subatomic Sound System was invited to be the official tour support for Julian Marley’s USA tour, May 8-19. Julian is a great performer with some big tunes of his own plus he often digs up gems from his father, Bob Marley’s early work with Lee Scratch Perry, like ‘Rainbow Country’ as well as classic hits like ‘Get Up Stand Up’ and ‘Exodus’. Many don’t know that Julian is also a big dub fan and featured a great dub tune with Addis Pablo on his new album. The Subatomic Sound System live dub show will feature Emch on the mix & melodica, the percussion legend Larry McDonald on the congas, and Troy Mobius (Brooklyn Gypsies) on the sax plus special guests on the mic along the way. Lookout for Addis Pablo, Treasure Don, and more joining us in NYC. Check some music and live performance videos from Julian Marley and Subatomic Sound System below…
