Subatomic Sound System in the studio with Lee Scratch Perry & Adrian Sherwood

Event Participant - PerformanceSubatomic Sound System has had a crazy year so far, reaching from NYC to India with Dubblestandart then to Europe for the debut of our Dub Champions Festival in Vienna then back to the US for a tour with Lee “Scratch” Perry (including two massive shows at Coachella) then back to Europe then back to NYC finally for a massive show at Red Bull Music Academy featuring a performance by Lee Scratch Perry, Adrian Sherwood, and Subatomic Sound System  with an all star line up featuring Black Ark veteran Larry McDonald on percussion, Dubblestandart’s Paul Zasky on bass, the Dub Select Horns, and very special guest Addis Pablo, son of Augustus Pablo, on melodica. While in NYC we ended up in a limousine for a project with Dubspot music school that deposited us at The Hook Studio in Brooklyn for a heavyweight recording session with Lee Scratch Perry and Subatomic Sound System plus Adrian Sherwood up in there making sure everything went according to plan. Check below the cut for videos of the shows and pics from the studio.
